About us
McAusland Optometrists is a tech-forward, paperless, private-only practice with a fiercely independent, patient-centric ethos. We have a friendly, close-knit team that support each other both personally & professionally, and our aim is to continue growing the business by enhancing our reputation as one of the premier practices in the South West.
The practice is built around a core philosophy of clinical excellence, backed up by high-quality dispensing. That means getting it right first-time, going the extra mile to delight our patients, and throwing in a bit of personality to create memorable experiences for patients & colleagues alike.
Unsurprisingly, we make it a point to work with good quality, stylish brands including FEB31st, prodesign:denmark, Dutz, Vanni, Res/Rei, Face a Face, Silhouette, WOOW, Maui Jim & Evil Eye, and the majority of our lenses are personalised products dispensed through Essilor’s Bespoke program.
What are we looking for?
We’re particular about the products we use and the way we do things – and we’re just as selective about our people!
In line with the growth of the practice, we currently have openings for both a Dispensing Optician role and a Receptionist / Optical Assistant role.
We’re seeking individuals that show attention to detail, enjoy taking initiative, and possess high emotional intelligence. The successful candidates will be encouraged to prioritise client delight over blindly meeting targets, will bring their own style and passion to the table, and will take pride in facilitating their colleagues’ development.
What can we offer?
No Sundays, Bank Holidays or late nights, and a lunchtime finish on Saturdays. Good holiday package too, including a proper Christmas break every year: work/life balance is important, as is having time with your family.
