Keval has been working in optics since 2006 and is fiercely passionate about independent optometry. After qualifying from City University London, he worked in cutting-edge independent practices in London and Oxford before moving to Exmouth in 2014.
Keval is the driving force behind much of the new technology in the practice, and he loves finding solutions to challenging vision problems. His key areas of focus are contact lenses, children’s vision, dry eye and macular degeneration. Outside the consulting room, he enjoys jazz, scuba-diving and catching up with friends over a nice bottle of red wine!
Sneh qualified from Aston University in 2008 and has gone from strength to strength, first gaining experience with a national high street chain before working independently across London & Essex. She is highly regarded by our patients for both her clinical excellence and caring approach. While Sneh does a lot of the general eye examinations within the practice, she & Keval have both completed extensive glaucoma training and Sneh has developed a particular knack for catching glaucoma in its very earliest stages.
Sneh loves helping people find the right glasses and always offers truthful and considered advice. Outside of work she enjoys travel and sneaks in scenic walks whenever she can.
Emma qualified at Cardiff University and brings years of experience and buckets of enthusiasm to our team! When she’s not busy looking after her three beautiful children, she’s always trying to find creative ways to help our patients see to the best of their ability.
Emma has a great way with people and her clients always leave the practice smiling. She has an excellent eye for detail and has been known to spot subtle eye conditions that have been missed by other high street opticians. Outside of work, she enjoys keeping fit and having a dance with her husband, Mark.
Our Dispensing Optician
Tom is our qualified Dispensing Optician. He joined the practice in 2017 after training at an independent practice in Exeter and gaining valuable experience at a well-known high street chain.
Tom’s specialty is translating our optometrist’s prescriptions into truly excellent pairs of glasses. From choosing – or designing – the right style of frame to suit both frame & prescription to working out the best way to incorporate sun protection or a sports-specific solution, Tom’s always got a bright idea up his sleeve.
Outside of work, Tom is a keen sportsman and plays squash, racketball & cricket to a high level.
